Invoicing

LogicLot supports invoicing for both buyers and experts. Buyers receive invoices for purchases; experts can customise the invoice template with their company details.

For buyers

When you purchase a Discovery Scan, Custom Project, or Solution, you can access an invoice from your Projects dashboard. Each completed or paid order has a downloadable invoice with line items, amounts, and seller details. Use "Print / Save as PDF" to keep a copy for expenses, VAT reclaim, or accounting.

For experts

Experts can set up their invoice template with company name, address, and VAT number. When a buyer pays, the platform generates an invoice using your template. You remain the seller of record for tax purposes—the invoice shows your business details, not ours.

Why invoices matter

Expense tracking. Record and categorise spending for budgeting and forecasting.

VAT reclaim. If you're VAT-registered, you need a valid invoice to recover input VAT. Our invoice format includes the required fields.

Audit trail. Document purchases for accounting, compliance, and audits.

Tax responsibility

Buyers and experts are responsible for their own tax obligations. We facilitate the transaction and provide invoice generation; we do not determine or collect VAT on your behalf. Tax & Legal has more detail.
